The Effects of Stress Stress is an ongoing dilemma which occurs in everyones life. It is a factor that is without a question apart of daily living. Due to the minor problems that occur in peoples daily lives, massive amounts of stress can arise. Stress means different things to people and effects people in different ways. Some people think stress is something that happens to them such as an injury or a birthday. And others think that stress is what happens to our mind, body, and behaviors in a response to an event. It is commonly found among employees and professionals who have a high degree of personal invest ment in their work and have high performance expectations. In the initial stages, people often have a variety of physiological and behavioral symptoms and lose interest and confidence in their work. The following physiological symptoms may occur: shortness of breath, loss of appetite, weight, headache, fatigue, and exhaustion. People who experience a burnout may have some of the behavioral symptoms like: lack of interest in fellow employees, risky behavior, and mood swings. In the later stages, people often engage in the following problems such as, abuse of alcohol and other drugs, smoke excessively, drink more caffeinated beverages, and become more rigid in their thinking. Law has very profound impact on both society and business. This is especially true in a market economy predicated on business activity. For one, laws can be a hindrance to innovation which lowers the quality of life for society as businesses dont create new goods and services. Laws can have the opposite effect by creating excessive abuse on the part of business which also lowers the quality of life for society. Law, as it applies to both business and society is form of balances which guard against abuse. Without it, business tends to become unethical in its practices which negatively impacts society. By closing Senior Primary classes at 12pm families in the Middle Park area will open up new opportunities for gaining a family income. Although not of â€Å"age† to be employed, Senior Primary classes could be given a special work permit that would enable them to be employed in jobs that others are reluctant to take up, including picking up rubbish in the street, cleaning toilets at the shops etc. The money they earn would be automatically added to their parent’s pay slip, thus increasing the family take home pay, another huge benefit to closing Senior Primary at 12pm. I have discussed in this essay only three reasons why the Senior Primary school day should be shortened to end at 12pm. The eradication of student fatigue, the tightening of expenditure on school resources as well as the earning potential of SP students and the follow on financial benefit for the family income are all very real and hopefully persuasive arguments. Taking these into consideration, surely we should all be in agreement that the school day must end at 12pm.

HR planning of this organization helps to manage the entire operation process of this organization. In order to develop workforce planning proper training and development program are established in Woolworths by the HRM department (Wowcareers.com.au, 2017). Woolworths offers clothing and merchant training program in their organization to enhance the skills of the employees. In the Western Australia Woolworths provides this training to enhance their fashion marketing. The duration of this training is 18 to 24 months. Development of the HR philosophies is another HR planning of Woolworths. However, the HR management teams need to adopt a proper philosophy to manage the workforce in an organization (Cullen et al., 2013). In the recent years, employee disengagement is a big barrier of the Woolworths that resists this organization to enhance the efficiency of the employees. Woolworths focuses on the innovation and creation in the workplace as an HR philosophy, which is a major part of their HR planning in this organization. On the other hand, the establishment of the flexible HR design is a crucial part of the HR planning. Woolworths focuses on the employment management team in order to enhance the skill and knowledge of the individuals. On the other hand, development of the management skill and capabilities are major areas of the HR planning. One of the major drawbacks of the HR planning is the employee disengagement that affects the HRM activities in this organization. Some employees may inculcate a feeling of jealousy among others. If the criteria for promotion are age and seniority, it might make the younger employees demotivated and jealous. Internal recruitment might not always provide apt employees for the vacant posts. External recruitment of employees can create workplace conflicts and maladjustments. New employees might find it tough to adjust themselves with the new ambience or with the older co workers.
